Free phone line of the Center for Rational Use of Medicines (CRUM)

8 800 080 88 87 is a freephone number of the Center for Rational Use of Medicines. It is created within realization of the State program of Health-care development «Salamatty Kazakhstan» for 2011-2015 years. 

Aim of the free phone line is increase drug literacy of population and prevention of irrational use of medicines.  

Functions:

1. Provide full and reliable information concerning medicines and free pharmaceutical benefits within the Guaranteed Volume of Free Medical Care;
2. Give consultations to healthcare professionals concerning drug interactions and rational prescription of drugs. The above mentioned information is provided according to international standards, evidence-based medicine and International Drug databases.

In the work CRUM's specialists use evidence-based sources, approved Basic prescribing information and the International Drug databases.
